3. Job Shadow Day program – students in actual work place setting

The Job Shadow day is scheduled for April 24.  Building on the Career day experience for the students, the job shadow day provides an opportunity for the students to shadow a ‘host’ and visit an actual work place for a day. The purpose of this program is to expose the students to careers to gain an awareness of the academic, technical, and personal skills required for jobs and to give them an opportunity to make connections.

This unique experience can be provided to our students if we have ‘Hosts’ who would host our students at their work place.  The PTSA is looking for parents, community members to sign up as hosts.  If you are unable to host, you can also help recruit hosts from family, friends and community members.

The deadline to sign up as Host is January 21st.  Once we have sufficient hosts signed up, the student registration for the program will begin in February.  Host sign-up form here

Please visit the link below for a brief overview of the program, the host sign-up form, host recruitment letter for community.
