Cupertino Robotics Hosts 2nd annual "First Lego League" Tournament

On November 12th, Cupertino Robotics held its 2nd annual "FIRST Lego League" tournament, right here at Cupertino High School! 13 teams of middle schoolers, from all over the Bay Area, joined 3 teams mentored by Cupertino Robotics students to compete for the entire day in 3-minute matches. Google Brain VP Mr. Rajat Monga joined us to give an inspiring kickoff speech, after which the teams presented their projects to judges and ran them in real-time matches. The teams thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the event was a huge success. A special thanks go out to all of our amazing volunteers, referees, and judges, who handled the most crucial parts of the event!
