A Message from the Principal

Welcome to Cupertino High School, where we have been preparing pioneers for the future for over fifty years.

Cupertino High School is rich with traditions and programs. We encourage all of our students to find their niche, to blaze their own trail through high school, making friends and memories along the way. Students who get involved will find themselves more connected to school and will perform better academically. I encourage each student to choose two activities to pursue, from our full range of sports and performing arts groups to the thirty-five clubs and service organizations.

We set high standards for student performance in the classroom as well. Our teachers are committed to seeing each student succeed in meeting or exceeding state standards as well as preparing for life after high school. Resources are available to help students achieve. Each week, there are two tutorial periods where students may access teachers for individual assistance, study with friends, or complete assignments. We also offer an academic support center after school. At the center, students may work on their assignments, use the computers, and get help as needed from peer and staff tutors. We also encourage students to take advantage of the information and assistance available in the College and Career Center and guidance office.

If you have questions or concerns, please call me at (408)366-7370 or your student’s assistant principal.

Sincerely,

Kami Tomberlain
Principal
