Art 3 Teacher

Recommended: C or better in Art 2. This is an advanced level course focused around a specialized area of drawing and painting and / or around the exploration of a variety or media and techniques.  In addition, Students will be directed in developing their own creative voice and experience a range of media. Advanced visual literacy and visual communication skills will be further developed. Historical and contemporary topics will be evident in student work and /or through class discussion. They have the opportunity to develop artwork for a portfolio for entrance to an art college and they will have an opportunity to design and present a digital portfolio.



f. Visual and Performing Arts ( VPA) - 1 year required.

A student must earn 10 credits and a grade of "C" or hgiher in a single, yearlong approved VPA course.
