Women's History Month
With today being March 1st, it is officially the 1st day of Women’s History Month. However, the achievements, leadership, courage, strength and love of the women who built America is as vital as that of the men whose names we know so well. Understanding the true history of our country will help us to comprehend the need for full equality under the law for all our people.” The 2022 Women’s History theme, “Providing Healing, Promoting Hope,” is both a tribute to the ceaseless work of caregivers and frontline workers during this ongoing pandemic and also a recognition of the ways that women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope throughout history. Tino’s WEA is hosting meetings every Friday this month to commemorate WHM in greater detail: Look forward to upcoming announcements but until we wish you a happy start to 2022's Women's History Month.
