What is the difference between Advisory and Tutorial?
-
Tutorial is “free choice” for students to go see their teachers and work on assignments, make up missed tests, participate in revision/redemption activities. Advisory is mandatory, and taught by their 4th period teacher once a month with various lessons aimed at further developing student character, enhancing their well-being, and building community.

How does a student find information to register for sports?
-
All of the sport information is posted on our athletics website (https://chs.fuhsd.org/student-life/athletics). Sports are played in three seasons: Fall - August-November; Winter - November - February; Spring - February-June. You can find coach contact information and the season of sport on the webpage.
In order to be registered to play a sport, students must complete Athletic Clearance. You can find detailed information at https://chs.fuhsd.org/student-life/athletics/athletics-registration. A major part of the clearance process is a physical from a doctor, so make sure you schedule an appointment appropriately.
Please contact the sport coach or our Athletic Director, Chris Oswald (chris_oswald@fushd.org) with more questions.
