Ways to Get Involved

At Cupertino High School, we value the participation of parents in their student’s high school experience. Participation in any of these groups helps to build up the school community and provides supports for a wide range of students. 

Through participation, you can: 

  • Stay informed about CHS events, resources, and opportunities 
  • Get connected with other parents for information, advice, and friendship 
  • Get involved through volunteer opportunities that support our students, teachers, and school community 

CHS PTSA 

Parent Teacher Student Association 

Main Focus: 

  • Support parent / teen education, community building, and community events 
  • Support teacher/classroom grants, campus security grants , SAT prep, and more 
  • Meets once a month in the Café, meeting dates on the CHS website, PTSA portal Volunteer opportunities: Career Fair, student programs, teacher lunches, Board positions

Band Boosters 

Main Focus: Support fundraising and operations of multiple programs: Marching Band & Color Guard, Tournament of Bands, Winter Percussion and Winter Guard

Main Focus: Structured tutoring support for student success. Meets Mon/Wed/Fri during Tutorial

ELAC/DLAC 

English Language Advisory Committee 

Main Focus: Teachers, administrators, students and parents working together for the success of all English Language Development students. 3 nighttime meetings per school year.

FUHS Foundation

Main Focus: Support CHS students and families with District-wide programs. Career/college planning (NAVIANCE), STEM, teacher grants, Robotics, FBLA, District-wide Art Show, Theater Arts, Choral Workshop, AVID, Parent Resource Network, Science Nights for Parents, BAYCO career building resources.The Foundation raises money to help support our students in 3 key areas – academic enrichment, student support services, and college and career readiness.
